The functions aren’t actually gone they’re just implemented slightly differently as part of the overall realignment of the controls. Lightroom 3 users may notice that the Recovery and Fill Light sliders (along with the Brightness slider) have gone away. The last pair of options, the Whites slider and the Blacks slider, let you take care of any remaining clipping issues that Lightroom didn’t already resolve.
